Pros and cons of AppleInsider app for iPhone and iPad
AppleInsider app good for
The format & fonts are beautiful to read. The size of the fonts and their layout is very easy on my eyes. Even the ads are nicely situated so as not to be a nuisance. One quibble I have with the iPad app is that adding comments isnt intuitive since you have to navigate to the home page re-find the article and then login and comment. Thats just too many steps to do something that normally isnt difficult when viewing the site within a browser window. Take a look at the iMore app, commenting is very easy and intuitive.
Thanks for a nice way to consume Apple rumors & news!
Great source of info for all apple products. Updated with news frequently. Love it, easy to navigate.
This is one of my "never update" apps. I noticed a comment about ads and heard about subscriptions through a former email feed. I check occasionally to see if the reviews have improved, and it hasnt happened yet so, Im quite happy with my old version. I also view website articles on my laptop.
I cant use the app at all; on wifi nor on data. I havent had this problem until the current version of AppleInsider
Works flawless very informative, only complaint about intrusive Googles ads. Or pay to get rid of them
Very nice app but it crashes immediately on iOS 9 beta 1 and 2
Some bad moments
App is no longer updating the news. The ads are working, nothing else....
Wont connect to network to load content. Fails to recognize wifi as well as cellular connection that are available.
Poor QA
It looses network connection randomly (while loading advertisement somehow with ease). Crushing upon opening from time to time.
Newsfeed unable to recognize wifi or cellular networks on iPad or iPhone.
Nice application and well designed. Good information is presented but sharing data outside is limited of often requires a subscription to services to the app. Uninstalled.
Clicking to view full screen photos on iOS does not load photo. Come on. A blog about tech should have a good app
Photos dont load in articles anymore. They dont show in the category page
Usually AppleInsider iOS app used & searched for
apple news,
apple insider,
and other. So, download free AppleInsider .ipa to run this nice iOS application on iPhone and iPad.
