It would help if the release notes explained it better though. When the try the new and Improved’ (...blah, blah, blah,,,) you don’t need a cancel button because clicking on the sheet does not obligate you to subscribe it at anytime - of course they would like you too.
You then get all the bells and whistles the Premium version adds. When the trial period runs out then the trying to use the Premium features will remind you that a subscription is required to turn those back - danged annoying but it is their app (and remove ads I believe).
You can continue to use the app without the new features. For me that is fine cause I generally read AI on my 27 inch iMac anyway along with my other daily stuff. Some of the new stuff is nice. IMHO very little of it is worth the $0.75 - $1.00 / month the ask for. I would think that a flat fee for the upgrade (something along $2.00 one time fee seems more reasonable.
