App doesnt open after update

I updated the app this morning on my iPhone 4s running iOS 8.3 and it will not open. I can choose the app on my home screen and it will trigger an app open animation, but crashes before any information is shown. Sorry to write a review with a bad rating. I love the app and apple insider, I have been following it for two years now, but I simply cant access the content through the app with this update and needed to get the word out to the developers.

Bad Connections

App wont connect using LTE only WiFi now

Update made comments unreadable

The comments are now tiny and pushed off to the right side. Unreadable on my iPad Air 2. I deleted the AI app.

No Surprise

The App will not open using iOS9 Beta.

PITIFULLY tiny COMMENT SECTION - can barely read it!

I generally like Apple Insider. But as far as the comment section goes, they ruined it.

An Embarrassment

Crashes every single time you do a search that yields more than a few pages of articles. Get it together - you guys are embarrassing yourselves with this shoddy app.

I love the app. Please Fix the issues with iOS9 public beta.

I love the app. Please Fix the issues with iOS9 public beta. The app is crashing. I uninstalled / installed the app but still no luck.

My first choice for Mac news.

Historically a great app.

ios9 public beta

This app tries to open then shut down with the public beta. I have tried all of the tricks, but they do not work.

Great for Apple news, but crashes now

Ive been reading Apple Insider for a long time. The articles are always interesting and informative. However recently it crashed and froze my phone, so I have avoided using it until today. It crashed again but didnt freeze my phone. I hope this gets fixed because I otherwise like this app. If it continues to crash I will delete it. Update: I deleted it. I will reinstall it when I see reviews saying it is working reliably now.

Completely nonfunctional

This app does nothing but erroneously display the message: "Whoops! You must connect to a Wi-Fi or cellular data network to access the news feed." I tried deleting and re-installing to no avail. Get it together, AppleInsider! Your website is great, but this app is embarrassing

Crappy App

The news and website are great! This is constantly has issues. The latest being placing old articles from prior months under the current month date. Whomever they use to write and update this app needs to shown the door for lack of quality control and just plain laziness.

I use this every day

Love this app more than the website. The push notifications really make the subscription worth it. The watch update is pretty cool too.

A little broke since iOS 9 update.

I am one of the users that doesnt pay the subscription fee and deals with the ads. Since the iOS 9 update the larger image view is no longer working. The sheet opens up but no image appears. Not sure if this is a subscription feature now or if the app is not fully compatible with iOS 9.

Apple Watch

Apple Watch app does not function. Just a blank black screen.

Images no longer work

Images no longer expand in iOS 9. Please fix!

Watch Update

Pretty please fix the app on the Apple Watch! Doesnt update with new articles. Thank you!

Will not update news feed.

Ever since the watch app came out, its been stuck on news links from May 29th and 30th. Needs to be fixed. I wish I could give it 0 stars.

Basics do not work

Love the initial layout of the articles. However I have 2 main gripes: 1. Links to web pages do not work. 2. Having to read through the comments in the 1990s DOS-like view is a bummer.

Great Site But My App Subscription Doesnt Work. No Support.

I purchased a yearly subscription many months ago but from day one the App wouldnt recognize it. If I try to purchase again within the App I am informed that I already have a subscription. Should be a simple matter to fix only except that AppleInsider has absolutely zero support. Click on the support link here (nothing in the app itself) and you will get a list of email addresses but none relate to support. I have tried emailing random individuals but have never received any response. Great site and app but dont waste your money subscribing!
